Girasole Vineyards: Organic Wines from Mendocino

Girasole Vineyards produces certified organic wines from grapes grown  on the benchlands of  Redwood Valley in the Mendocino AVA.   The vineyards  belong to grower Charlie Barra, the son of Italian immigrants,  who has farmed some 200 acres of organic varietal wines since the mid-1950s.  The wines are made by winemaker Jason Welch who also follows Vegan friendly guidelines when making his wines– no animal products  such as egg-whites are used in making the wines.  Girasole Vineyards debuted in 2001.  Contact:  www. girasolevineyards.com
